Pictures and Nike Workout

So I have to admit that my butt didn't get to the gym last night, BUT I did get up at 6:30 to get  there this morning. I didn't do anything to crazy I tried to do some stretches and exercises for my knee, but the stretches just REALLY freaking hurt and the exercises didn't work that well either. So after wasting 20 minutes I decided to try out the Nike Training Club workout. The verdict: I really like it! I did the Get Lean, Beginner, Sweat + Shape. It says it is for people who only work out 4-5 times a month, but it kicked my booty! Seriouly if you only worked out 4/5 times a month I don't know how you would make it through it. It is a 30 minute workout with no breaks, it is supposed to keep your heart rate up to help burn fat. The only part I didn't like about it was that you do 3 MINUTES of push-ups in it. This girl can NOT do that! I would do 10 and then take a 10 second break and then do 10 more. I may have monster arms, but it's all fat no muscle haha. It is a work out designed to be done completely without weights so there aren't many other options for arm exercises, but I can feel my muscles burning! I think next time I will sub one of the minutes for tricep extensions to work the other side of my arm some. All in all I really liked it though. It took me about 45 minutes to get through it this time because I had to watch the video on like every exercise to see exactly what I was supposed to be doing, but I don't think I'll have to do that anymore. I am going to try and do one of these workouts every morning and then do my cardio plus some more abs/arms at night.

I think I am going to stick with this workout for the week and till I feel like I have gotten better at it and then I will move on to another. There are 7 workouts totally in the beginner get lean option so I think I will play around in there till I feel like I have burned off some more of my chub and then try some of the work-outs in get toned. When you do a workout you earn "rewards". I haven't quite figured out exactly what that means, but I know that today after 30 minutes I unlocked 13 bonus workouts. They are all 15 minute workouts that target one area like core, legs, or arms. I didn't open any of them up, but it looks like most of them are athletes workouts like Hope Solo  which is pretty cool! I think I need to get in a little better shape though before I try those suckers out, because this workout showed me I'm not in nearly as good of shape as I thought I was! I'm really hoping that adding in these all around workouts will help me see a bigger loss in my inches when I do my next measurements. I'm off to the doctor to see what he says about my knee, but before I go I'll show you my progress pictures

attack of the monster calves

I don't know why, but I tend to think this is the most flattering view of my legs (minus the bruises)

grr celuolite is till there :-( I can't really tell if it's gotten any better on this leg since the last pictures and I'm not savy enough to have a picture program to put them side by side to compare

This leg however it's all gone! Woo still got some inches to come off, but it's looking better :-)

Tummy, I took this at a really weird angle I promise I don't look this small normally. My love handle is hiding my little pouch that I have on my stomach I over rotated taking the picture and didn't notice till I uploaded it.

See not a weird skeleton. I am pretty happy with my stomach if I could just lose the muffin top/love handles that are hanging on. I have been trying to find workouts that target that area, but I haven't really been happy with any of the ones I have found.

Don't ask me why my arm is so far behind me, it was early my brain wasn't working yet. One day I will have nice small arms again.

I had my shoes off to do my stretches and as I was putting them back on I was like hey, this is a new angle I should take a picture so here you go. If I didn't have crazy huge calves I would think that my legs pretty good at this ankle too.

Happy Monday! Wish me luck at the doctor today!
