Sorry for the lack of a post yesterday, but my life has been pretty jam packed full lately!!! This is going to be kind of a random thrown together post. I still have my post that I forgot to email to myself Friday, but I'm in a totally different mood today then I was then so for now I'm not going to post it. The first big thing I have is I passed my math test!!! Woot Woot!!! I may or may not of stress ate my way through like half a watermelon in the process of taking the test, but I passed and officially have full acceptance to CSU :-)
I also have been accepted to Midway College
So now I just have to make a decision about which one to go to. While it's awesome that I have options I am terrible at decisions and they totally stress me out. The BF is not big on Midway because he's not big on Kentucky, but I've already told him I am being selfish about this decision and I'm going to go with whichever is better for me (we have made our fair number of decisions based on what was better for him). Right now I'm leaning towards whichever one gives me more aid which is looking like Midway! I'm scared of all the bugs and snakes in Kentucky, but considering I don't have $25,000 a year to spend on tuition (that's after the $13,000 in loans they offered me) it's looking like it's going to be hard to make CSU work...
I have pretty much eaten like a pig and I that stresses me out too. I have a nice little pooch going on in the tummy area and I have just been avoiding looking at it and shoveling more girl scout cookies and guacamole in my mouth. I just can't seem to get ahead and get all my meals lined out these last few weeks and it's driving me crazy!!! I have been eating a decent amount of fruit and a few veggies (avocado's are veggies right? ;-) ), but I need to get my shit together ASAP before I begin to look like an elephant.
As far as working out I got nothing Friday-Sunday... womp womp. I only worked out Tuesday and Thursday last week, but I'm trying to be good this week. Yesterday I had planned on doing 2 classes at my gym. One is called "the Spartacus workout" and is taught by the same guy who does boot camp and the other was zumba. I showed up at 5:30 and there were 3 other people in the room, he's classes are usually packed so I knew something was wrong. Turns out he was out of town and we missed the memo. There was a lady there who was going to fill in and teach a cardio kick boxing class. I had been wanting to try a cardio kickboxing class so I decided to stay, which was a terrible decision! It was seriously a terrible class, one other girl showed up so we started with 5 of us and by the end it was just me and 1 other girl who were too embarrassed to leave. About the only workout I got was doing 500 squats, and I certainly wouldn't of called it "cardio". The class ended early and I waited around for Zumba to start.
My friend who I ran the fast and furriest with is a big Zumba fan, so she met me for the class. This was my first time ever trying it and I looked like a TOTAL IDIOT! I have no rhythm at all! She kept telling me I did good for my first class, but I'm pretty sure she is lying and just wants me to keep going with her because she likes it haha. After the gym we went to chili's and split one of their new flatbreads (which I'm pretending was healthy since I ate it last night and had it's leftovers for lunch today), and I got a side salad.... and of course we had to have a margarita to celebrate our lovely weather we are having :-) I don't even want to know how many calories were in it, but it was worth it! We ended up staying out way too late talking and it was almost 10 when I got home. I was less than happy with decision when 5:00 rolled around this morning, but oh well!
Today I had originally planned on going to the cardio kickboxing class, but after last night there was no way that was happening! It was a different instructor, but I still wasn't willing to try it again. So my next plan was to go for a run and then try out the muscle endurance class, but mother nature has different plans. It is currently pouring rain with thunder and lightning and since I hate running on the treadmill that means no run today. So instead I'm going to try a spin class and hope I don't die!!! We'll see how that turns out.... If I am not totally wiped out after that I am going to try the muscle endurance class.
I really should be cleaning my house right now, so I am going to try and get a little of that done before I head to the gym, and calm some of the chaos in my life! Happy Tuesday!
